Dynamic Safety Testing  

The EVS 1850 Attendant-Child seat (ambulance seat) has been fully tested to the European ECE R44 dynamic test criteria (Type Approval test), complete with a dummy secured to the seat by the EVS seat belt restraint system. (This is commonly referred to as the 20G test).

ECE R44 Dynamic Sled Pulse

The purpose of this test was to provide data on the EVS 1850 High Back Safety Seat for EVS Ltd., when subjected to the ECE R44 sled pulse.  Applicable CAPE standard operating procedures were followed using an instrumented SA106C anthropomorphic test device. High-speed digital imagers and motion analysis tools were used to record right side and top views of the impact event.

Test Results: 01064-001    
An EVS #1850 High Back Safety Seat with 185S Swivel Base was tested with the SA106C to the ECE R44 dynamic sled pulse.  The occupant restraint system (ORS) retained the occupant.
